Cookies
Our websites use what are known as „cookies“. Cookies are small data packages and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are either stored temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies required for carrying out the electronic communication process, for providing certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or for optimising the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Where consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Where further cookies and services are used on this website, you can find this out in this privacy policy.

Our website uses CCM19 to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your end device, or to the use of certain technologies, and to document this in a manner compliant with data protection law. The provider of this technology is Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn, Germany (hereinafter „CCM19“).
When you enter our website, a connection is established to CCM19’s servers in order to obtain your consents and other declarations regarding cookie use. CCM19 then stores a cookie in your browser so that the consents you have given, or their revocation, can be assigned to you. The data collected in this way is stored until you request its deletion, delete the CCM19 cookie yourself, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
CCM19 is used to obtain the legally required consents for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(c) GDPR.

In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://business.safety.google/adscontrollerterms/sccs/.

7. Our Own Services
Handling of Applicant Data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by email, by post or via an online application form). Below we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions, and that your data is treated as strictly confidential.
Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
If you send us an application, we process the related personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary for the decision on whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general initiation of a contract) and – where you have given consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data is passed on within our company exclusively to persons involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data you have submitted will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
As part of the application process, we may also conduct an internet search relating to you. This primarily includes Google searches, LinkedIn and Xing. The legal basis for this type of processing is our legitimate interest in obtaining an overall impression of publicly available information about you pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention Period of the Data
If we are unable to offer you a position, if you decline a job offer, or if you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. Retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. Where it is apparent that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), deletion will not take place until the purpose for continued retention no longer applies.
Longer retention may also take place if you have given corresponding consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations preclude deletion.
